Harvey Rachlin jest autorem kilkunastu książek, m.in. Lucy’s Bones, Sacred Stones and Einstein’s Brain i Jumbo’s Hide, Elvis’s Ride and the Tooth of Buddha, na podstawie których powstała seria „History’s Lost and Found” dla History Channel. Pisze dla “New York Timesa” i “Writera” oraz występuje w programach telewizyjnych i radiowych. Pracuje w Manhattanville College.
